あまり見かけない生地で製作したく、 美しく引き揃えられたSuper 140'sのウールを用いて 丁寧に目を詰めて織り上げたオリジナルのピケ。

素材と組織の意外な掛け合わせに、
広いピッチで畝を並べることで新鮮な見栄えを狙って製織しました。

ワーキッシュなディテールとして左身頃にウォッチポケットを備えて非対称に配置。

釦を少なく作務衣のように簡素なフロントに対し
バックには大ぶりなヨークを構え、 衿裏には切り替えを配しております。

畝の流れを強調する為に落ちの良いパターンで収め
着用時のシルエットも立体的に構築しております。

素材、織り、文脈、形状と 今までになかった要素を掛け合わせた一着です。


A shawl-collar work jacket that reinterprets workwear through an elegant original fabric defined by rich luster and dramatic depth.

Created with the intention of using a fabric rarely seen in workwear, it is woven from beautifully aligned Super 140's wool into ANCELLM's original piqué. The tightly woven construction is paired with wide, pronounced ribs, creating a fresh balance through an unexpected combination of luxurious material and distinctive texture.

Functional workwear details remain at its core, including an asymmetrically placed watch pocket on the left chest. The front is intentionally simplified with a minimal button configuration inspired by traditional Japanese workwear, while an oversized back yoke and a contrast collar stand add subtle architectural details.

The pattern is designed with a natural drape to emphasize the direction and depth of the piqué ribs, creating a sculptural silhouette when worn.

Bringing together material, weave, heritage, and form, this piece represents a combination of elements unlike anything ANCELLM has created before.
