これまでに見たことのないライダースを作りたく独自パターンの設計から計算と研究を重ね、
加工の当て方も吟味しながら多くの時間をかけることで
ANCELLMの核を宿した一着が完成しました。
上質なガラスコーティングのホースレザーを探し、
美しく艶やかに仕上げられたコーティングを特殊加工で剥離させ、
その上から洗いにかけることで不規則な色ムラと縮みによる凹凸を表現。
本来は素のままに使う上質なガラスレザーに対して
探究心から思い切って加工に挑んだことで他の素材では成し得ない奥行きの深い表情と唯一無二のキャラクターが現れました。
実重量を感じさせないようパターンに注力し着用時には重さを分散させた設計。
レザー特有の動きづらさを軽減しながら落ちと収まりの良いシルエットを描いております。
衿の開きやベルトの使い方など様々な着方を想定し
パーツの配置バランスを細かに調整しましたので、沢山のスタイリングでお楽しみ頂けると嬉しいです。
A double riders jacket crafted from carefully selected premium horse leather and finished with ANCELLM's signature bold aging process.
Created with the intention of making a riders jacket unlike anything seen before, this piece is the result of extensive research into pattern making, construction, and finishing techniques. Every stage of the process has been carefully refined to embody the core character of ANCELLM.
The jacket begins with beautifully polished glass-coated horse leather of exceptional quality. The glossy coating is then partially removed through a special finishing process before the garment is washed, creating irregular color variations, natural shrinkage, and a richly textured surface.
Rather than leaving this luxurious glass leather untouched, ANCELLM deliberately challenged the material through processing, revealing a depth and individuality that could not be achieved with any other leather.
The pattern is engineered to distribute the garment's weight across the body, reducing the heaviness and restricted movement often associated with leather jackets while maintaining a silhouette with a natural drape and refined balance.
Every detail—from the opening of the collar to the placement and function of the belt—has been carefully adjusted to offer multiple ways of wearing the jacket. We hope you'll enjoy exploring it through a wide range of styling combinations.
