逞しい茶芯のホースレザーを素材として厳選し
無骨さと洗練を合わせて整えたハーフコート。
1930年代頃のアメリカのカーコートを参考に設計し
クラシックなムードを受け継ぎながらも現代に合わせ古めかしくも
古着とは異なる空気を纏わせました。
ホースレザーは動きの激しい馬ならではの
躍動感を感じるシボが力強く刻まれており、
一点一点で表情の現れ方が異なる素材。
茶芯のレザーによって経年により化粧が薄れていき
徐々に芯となる素肌の茶色が顔を覗かせることで、
表層との美しいグラデーションが生まれます。
しっかりと肉厚で堅牢なレザーですが、
実重量を感じさせないようパターンに注力し着用時には重さを分散させた設計。
レザー特有の動きづらさを軽減しながら
落ちと収まりの良いシルエットを描いております。
今作では、綺麗なレザーから育てる楽しさを残したく加工は控えめに製作しました。
ネックストラップを使用して衿を立てAラインを強調したスタイルもおすすめです。

Inspired by American car coats from the 1930s, the design carries forward a classic mood while being reinterpreted for the present.
The result is a garment that feels timeless, with the depth of vintage without becoming nostalgic.
The horse leather is chosen for its bold, expressive grain—an unmistakable characteristic of leather shaped by the natural movement of the horse.
Each hide develops its own unique texture, making every piece subtly different.
Using tea-core leather allows the finish to evolve beautifully over time.
As the surface gradually wears, the warm brown core begins to emerge, creating a rich natural gradient between the outer finish and the leather beneath.
Although the leather is substantial and durable, the pattern has been carefully engineered to distribute its weight across the body.
This reduces the heaviness and restricted movement often associated with leather outerwear while maintaining a silhouette with graceful drape and balance.
For this version, the finishing has been intentionally restrained to preserve the pleasure of aging a beautiful leather from its original state.
Fasten the neck strap and wear the collar standing to emphasize the coat's elegant A-line silhouette for another expression of the piece.
