様々な国の古いフライトジャケットを参考に
今の時代へモディファイしたボンバージャケット。
昨年からの継続した製作ですが、今季は救命用に備えられていた本来の機能に倣い、
ライニングをレスキューオレンジで切り替え両A面のリバーシブル仕様としました。
短丈ながらも短すぎない合わせやすさで設計しパターンのテクニックで落ち感と収まりを強調。
タートルネックやフーディなどを重ねられるよう
衿型に少し和装のようなニュアンスを加えることで首周りにレイヤードの余白を設けております。
加工面ではナイロンに強いフェードをかけ化繊には珍しい奥深く燻んだ表情を作り、
ダメージでキャラクターを重ねております。
ナイロンへのフェードは塩梅が難しく素材と加工の限界点を探りながら試行錯誤しました。
比較的軽量でありながらも暖かくインナーの調整で長い季節をお楽しみ頂けます。
A bomber jacket inspired by vintage flight jackets from various countries, reinterpreted and modified for the modern era.
Continuing from last season, this season's version takes inspiration from the jacket's original function as emergency equipment, featuring a rescue-orange lining and a fully reversible construction that allows both sides to be worn as the face.
Designed with a cropped length that is short without feeling overly so, the silhouette is easy to style with a variety of proportions. Through carefully engineered pattern techniques, the design emphasizes a natural drape and a clean, controlled shape. The collar is given a subtle Japanese-inspired nuance, creating additional space around the neck for layering with turtlenecks, hoodies, and other pieces.
For the finishing process, the nylon has been heavily faded to create a deep, muted character rarely seen in synthetic fabrics, with additional damage adding further depth and individuality. Achieving the right degree of fading on nylon required extensive trial and error, carefully exploring the limits of both the fabric and the finishing process.
Despite its relatively lightweight construction, the jacket offers warmth and can be enjoyed across an extended season by adjusting the layers worn underneath.
