ワークイメージの強いチノ素材は、
普通に作っても野暮ったくなってしまうため
多くの課題に研究を重ねて製作しています。

紡績技術が未発達だった時代の素材感を目指し
糸の揃いすぎていない凹凸のある生地を選定。


チノパンツの固定概念から目線を変え、
ドレススラックスのパターン概念から研究することで
立ち姿が美しく伸びるようなシルエットを構築。


ムードに深みを持たせるために特殊技法で色味を残しながら濃度だけを落とし、
ペンキの色を選び、飛ばす分量と位置の計算。

表情の現れるように調合しながらもう一度色を載せ
元の濃度まで戻すという多くの工程を経ています。

毎度、コレクションのカラーに合わせながら
何度も試験を繰り返す大変な工程なのですが、
これでないと出ない表情、風合い、色気があるのです。

くったりと使い込まれた古着のようなアイテム毎に宿る表情を作りながらも、
現代を見定めた美しいシルエットとファッションとしてデザインした経年変化。
